Eating Disorders Anonymous is self-supporting through its own contributions. (7th Tradition)
The only requirement for EDA membership is a desire to recover from an eating disorder. (3rd Tradition). There are no dues or fees for EDA membership.
While there are no dues or fees, the General Service Board incurs expenses helping EDA groups carry the message of recovery, including:
- Website hosting, security, and backups
- Discounted EDA books and shipping to groups
- Online meeting management software
- Accounting software
- Future costs include publishing new books such as the EDA Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, EDA Daily Meditations, and translations of the EDA Big Book.
We meet such expenses through contributions from EDA groups and members. We have included PayPal links below to make a contribution with your PayPal account or via your credit card (no PayPal account needed). Or, to make a contribution with a check (either from individuals or groups), you can print this form and mail it in with your check. EDA Seventh Tradition Contribution Form
