|Eating Disorders Anonymous is self-supporting through its own contributions. |
The only requirement for EDA membership is a desire to recover from an eating disorder.
There are no dues or fees for EDA membership.
This page explains how to support EDA. Looking for support for your recovery? Please check out our literature page, our audios, the EDA Big Book, and our meetings pages: Face-to-Face, Chat Room, and Phone/Zoom.
EDA’s primary purpose is to recover from our eating disorders and to carry this message of recovery to others with eating disorders. In carrying the message of recovery, EDA incurs expenses, such as web hosting (we developed our own site), brochure and document duplication, and mailing costs. We meet such expenses through voluntary contributions from EDA members. We hope to establish a national hotline, make information about EDA more readily accessible to professionals who help people with eating disorders and continue our policy of free online literature. Want to support sponsorship in EDA? Now you can help more EDA members (with demonstrated financial need) attend the EDA Big Book Step Study Workshop. Send someone from your group by listing the group name, city and state when donating. Please use the scholarship fund button below to contribute. If you would like to help EDA carry the message and you consider yourself an EDA member, you may send a voluntary contribution to EDA by clicking the PayPal button below or with our 7th Tradition Contribution Form.
The General Service Board of EDA, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Your contributions may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor.
Tax Id Number: 86-1033263.
