I wish I could say that my behaviors stopped right then and there, but they didn’t. The process of letting go of my eating disorder took a long time, but what mattered most was that I never gave up. I held on to hope that I could recover and did what I could each day to move forward. In my persistence, my life slowly began to change.
EATING DISORDERS ANONYMOUS (EDA)
EDA is a Twelve-Step fellowship of individuals who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover from their eating disorders. People can and do fully recover from having an eating disorder. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from an eating disorder.
